The Ford Escort GT was first put into production in 1968. At first most people thought of the Ford Escort GT to be way too conservative to become a bestseller among other popular name plates, but the critics were eventually proven wrong in a big way. In 1968 the Ford Escort GT topped the sales charts and sold approximately 300,000 cars in its first year alone. This car has not only been a hot seller in the United States as of late. The car, famous for the engine that was motoring it, was also a huge success in Germany and the Great Britain. The GT helped Ford of Germany to regain a greater share of the domestic marketplace.
During its launch Ford also prepared a rally version of this car that would appeal to a younger audience. This concept proved effective as the population ate up the Escorts good looks, and loved the Ford Escort engine that was provided. The Ford Escort GT had its biggest success squaring off against bigger cars, which were usually more popular. In a huge surprise, the GT was a huge hit overseas again, this time in Australia. Whereas most Australians go for bigger cars, with bigger engines, sporting only 2.0 liters shot to the front of the pack.
Jump to the 1990′s and the Ford Escort GT was still going strong; this time more so in the United States. This car appealed to a younger crowd that was looking for a sport design, and also looking for an alternative to Japanese rivals. The press did not give these early 90′s Escorts good reviews, stating that the engine was undersized, and that the reliability was not good. This did not stop loyal Ford buyers from giving this car a chance. By 1995 all of the kinks seemed to be worked out, and the GT was again selling at a modest number, bringing Fords small cars sales to the top. In 1996 the Ford Escort was remodeled again for a more modern look. This was needed to keep up with the other cars in its class from Toyota, Honda, and Chevrolet. The Ford Escort GT did a good job of that and its sales continued to climb throughout the end of the decade. This was in large part thanks to the Ford Escort engine which did a great job of making this a sporty car.
Generally, Ford Escort GT has been a great thing for Ford. It has brought in a lot of revenue, and has also held a strong following over the years. If you are looking for a good, reliable, used car, take a strong look at a late 90′s Escort GT. You will be sure to enjoy the ride, and the immense power of the engine that has made this car so popular for the last 40 years. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush, you know that the Ford Escort GT can provide you with that rush. Screaming down the long roads in the Ford Escort GT can make you realize the full power that this machine can handle.

Help answer the question about japanese escort
What do Japanese people really think about foreigners in Japan?Hi
I am, Black, British
At first I wanted to go to Japan for the girls, but have been learning more about Japan and Japanese culture
I actually want to visit Japan
But the thing is that having researching Japan
I would like to experiences not just the Language but the culture. though I may see pros such as.
"I am a foreigner in you land/country and want to take part in the culture, way of life"
Although I know that not all Japanese are like this, but the cons may be more like
"Yet another foreigner who "thinks" he is Japanese"
are indeed discouraging
They may have very good reason for disliking foreigners
Yeah some people(foreigners) (westerners) may have done things that do cast us in a bad light.
Though not all of us are like that,
If I do go,
I would not want to do anything to compound the negative stereotype that they may already have fixed on foreigners.
For example, If someone would start a fight with me I would walk away (I usually walk away anyway)
But I am unsure if it would may be seen as "yet another foreigner causing trouble with and or for a Japanese citizen"
Though the way I would see it is more like "a**holes can be found in every country"
While researching I found out things like, there are a lot of places that are "japanese only" and places where people are not allowed to go with out a japanese escort, companion etc…
Could be indeed racist
(But unfortunately racism would be found in any country)
I apologize for how this would sound for, it does seem like I am stereotyping all Japanese, but I really do not mean to
Sorry if I have offended you.
So what do Japanese people really think about foreignors in Japan?
Are there anybody who have been to Japan?
What was it like there?
How was your experience?
Japanese people, What do I need to know before going to Japan? culture, tradition, behaviour, etiquette, norms etc…
I ask this out of wanting to learn about and dispel whatever stereotypes good and bad of Japanese people and the nation of Japan.
Although I also found out that there are Japanese who really like foreigners.
Could you tell me more on this?

All these people answering saying "yes, some Japanese are racist" is just stupid.
VERY VERY VERY few Japanese are "racist", but many still hold prejudices from generations ago. For example, my grandfather fought in WW2, and after the war ended, when the Americans forced us to rebuild their own country, there were MANY rapes and "honor killings" done by American soldiers who had lost comrades in the war.
Thats the reason many older people, who had fought in the war r were born soon after it still hold grudges against westerners, for the atrocious things SOME of them did.
To be completely honest, you WILL have people stare at you, but not in a rude way. You have to understand, there is a very very very small foreign population in Japan, many people from rural areas have never seen a black person in their entire lives apart from the television. It sounds completely crazy for people living in a westernized society to not have seen or spoke to a black person, but the foreign population is only around >1%, and im just guessing that probably only 10% of the 1% of foriegners are black.
Do not worry, Japan is a very accepting country, and you will only face prejudice if you yourself ask for it by acting disrespectful, not learning the language, or just being completely ignorant.
Hope i helped.
US lost 420,000 tonnes and Japanese final was 864,000 tonnes
I'm not certain which hairstyle you are looking for.
Is it probably "hime-gal" hairstyle?

If not, detailed explanation would be apreciated. >.<
Just saying Zetec engine is very wide range because crossworlth made one for Ford to be use in Formula1. And it was in Benetton team F1 car in 1994, and powered Michael Schumacher to his first World Championship title.
The version in the escort made by ford them self and later on use for rallying and Formula Ford.
They didn`t outnumber the enemy at all!The British were too busy spending resources to fight the Germans!
American cars are not as reliable as japanese cars. You can see this by the fact that resale values are much higher for japanese cars than for american cars.
And think about it, the american companies are in financial trouble, and what do companies do in financial crisis? They cut spending anywhere possible, so that means using cheaper parts and not inspecting or assembling the cars as well. So the cars will be more cheaply made too since they need to cut spending as much as possible.
Save yourself the headache of constant car repairs and avoid the american cars. Sure, it may be nice to support american, but why should I throw away my money on something that isn't as reliable. Consumers will pick the best product and the best will win out in the end. (This is why GM didn't make it).
If anything ALL of that is wrong.
Japan is actually a very nice place and the men are way less open then american men over here… the kind of stuff you said is stuff that merely happens in anime movies or the "hentai"..
So it doesn't necessarily matter if your "sexy" or "child-like" They do not watch vore– which is just disgusting that's only for people with severe creepy fetishes. And the telephone-booth is -10000x inaccurate that never happens. There is NO such thing as 1-3 year old porn in japan if there was it would be all over america first. And, japanese are no different then americans if any they are a little more innocents– so to the 12 year old girl thing- NOO.
Anyways hope this helped!
just i understand alot of people are paranoid when thinking about being in a new country but don't worry japan is a wonderful place…. lol. still don't understand holw you came to this assumption.
General Motors has been making terrible cars for many years and that's why they are now bankrupt. Toyota and Honda have a good track record of building quality products and that is why they are so popular. So forget about American cars. Anyway Toyotas and Hondas are made in America also.
